Dr. Halbert-Seger is an American natural scientist with a lengthy career as an ESL (English as a Second Language) instructor. She completed a bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of California Santa Cruz, a Master’s in Marine Affairs and a Ph.D. in Fisheries at the University of Washington, where she also worked for several years as a Research Assistant. Upon completion of her Ph.D. she worked as a Research Fellow at theUniversität Rostock. Since then she has taught English extensively at various colleges and universities as well as government ministries throughout Germany.
